Production equipment:
1 fully-automatic barrel/rack plating line. Max length of components: 1200 x 600 x 550 mm
Characteristics of the surface treatment:
Tin plating is a corrosion-inhibiting coating which also makes it possible to solder the components. The tin coating gives low and stabile contact resistance – unlike copper- or brass surfaces that naturally tarnish and oxidise. Typical coating thickness varies from 5 to 20 µ.
Application:
Electrolytic tin plating is approved for application in the food industry and is, furthermore, used in the electronics industry for surfaces on which soldering is a requirement.
